RBC Promotes Practice Management Head to Run Pacific Northwest
RBC Wealth Management-U.S. has reached into its practice management department to find a new complex director for its branches in the Pacific Northwest.
Angelo began his financial services career almost 18 years ago as an account manager at Russell Investments, rising to head of national sales for its financial advisor-sold channel. He subsequently worked for two years as an independent broker with LPL Financial and as a registered investment advisor before joining RBC in 2017.
RBC emphasized Angelo’s direct experience as an advisor and as a national coach. He proved his mettle “helping advisors build their ideal practices—especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when advisors and clients quickly pivoted to virtual engagement,” it said in announcing his new role.
“Nate brought a calm energy and great strategic guidance for advisors during an unpredictable and stressful year, and I’m eager to see him take on this new role,” Tom Sagissor, president of the Royal Bank of Canada subsidiary said in a prepared statement.
“I’ve not only been an advisor myself, but I’ve led the RBC team charged with bringing cutting-edge tools, tech, guidance and advice to advisors during a time when our industry is evolving fast,” said Angelo, who has been based in Tacoma.
